We receives threat from agencies: VBMP Vice Chairman
By Tariq Baloch
We had set up this camp about two year ago, which is the single platform for the relatives of Missing Persons to raise their voice. Families from remote areas come to record their protest, he said.
A relative of senator had visited the camp accompanied another non-local person some three months ago and introduced him as grandson of Senator Member of Baloch family. He added that “discussed person told that secret agencies have conveyed their message to end this hunger strike camp”.
According to Qadeer Baloch, that person told him that if he wanted his son alive, then he should end the strike. Qadeer Baloch said that he had argued that if the missing persons were released, the strike would end, to which that man replied that he would come again the next day.
While continuing the story, Qadeer Baloch said that the man returned the next day and demanded for twenty lacs as ransom of his son, to this he decline, saying that he was here for the 14,000 missing Balochs, not just his son. Discussed man then said that he would receive the dead body of his son.
Mama Qadeer Baloch’s son and Information Secretary of Baloch Republican Party Jalil Raki dead body was found on November 22.
We have been on a token hunger strike for the past 610 days and are demanding immediate release of our missing relatives. Our voice has been heard by international humanitarian organizations like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and others and now some elements are threatening us to end the strike, Mama Qadeer Baloch said.
