FC vehicle picking up the missing persons: DIG Police Hamid Shakeel

Bolan Voice Report

A three-member Supreme Court (SC) bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed hearing of missing persons of Balochistan case.

The Supreme Court ordered that three missing persons be presented before the court during its next hearing.

The apex court has also summoned IG Police Balochistan and IG FC to the next hearing scheduled for May 14.

During Friday’s proceedings, the Supreme Court expressed anger over the absence of Inspector General of Frontier Corps Balochistan.

The Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhamamd Chaudhry remarked that the bench will pass an order in case IG FC failed to appear.

The Chief Justice further said that if IG FC does not want to appear in the court, he should at least present the three missing persons before the bench.

DIG Operations Balochistan Police Hamid Shakeel informed the court that CCTV video of a private hotel shows the FC vehicle picking up the missing persons. The court also ordered to present the video.

The Chief Justice also criticised the federal government and said that it is not interested in Balochistan matters as no one from the government has so far appeared in the court.
