30th August commemorates worldly for Enforced Disappearing Persons. In Balochistan, thousand Baloch political workers have gone to missing. The relatives of these missing persons established and organization with name “Voice for Baloch Missing Persons”, and this organization arranged demonstration in front of Quetta Press Club to raise voice to awaken Human Rights organization, Media institutes against enforced disappearance of their beloved.
A sufficient number of relatives including women and children participated in protest and were gathered in front of Quetta Press Club. The participants were holding pictures of their beloved ones, who are missing or had been killed after enforced disappearance. Place-cards and banners inscribed with sentences demanding to international organization for performing due role about Baloch Missing Persons release or provision of justice to them.
On occasion, from gathering speakers delivered speeches, in which they sad, “Baloch abduction series was commenced from era of dictator and couldn’t end even in democratic government and without any pause is continuing to date. Political workers are being arrested extra judicially and afterward their mutilated bodies are being thrown in deserted areas of Balochistan. Up till now, in this series, thousands Baloch have been killed mercilessly. Now another tactic has been carryout that the Balochs who already were abducted are being killed in fake operations of forces by showing off to them as militant.” They blamed.
The speakers informed, “State authorities and forces are striving to astray the international human rights and media about this human crises. By now, in Karachi Baloch youth’s mutilated bodies throwing series commenced, such acts are bare human rights violations. The new sworn government also couldn’t halt this homicide, even it has been escalated. The International Human Rights Organizations should come forth and suspend this pitiful series.” They appealed.
