Education in Balochistan
By Aman Peer Jan,Turbat
Ours is a fast developing globe, without doubt the secret of the current huge swift progression of our world is all owing to the mesmerizing magic of the presence of education of all sorts and fields as Education is the need of every human being. Education is the key towards success. Without education we are like animals. Due to education we know about the world, humanity and the importance of the beautiful globe, stars, planets, galaxies and many more shocking discoveries of science as a result of their painstaking measures by the dint of education.
On the other hand, Staggering is the naked fact that Balochistan, the largest and well off province in Pakistan, Unfortunately, lies behind than the other province owing to the low quality and inadequacy of provision of education. If every male and female of our province becomes educated, our nation will be the strongest nation in the world. In Balochistan there is not quality education for the students to get. If there are institutions then there are no qualified as well as sophisticated teachers in some places of Balochistan, esp. the paradoxically tribal and rural areas are strapped for its attainment.
Schools lack proper infrastructure and students are setting in the lawn of their schools and getting education and the text books of Balochistan are of old trend while modern text books are well modified and can easily be understood by the students.
Now-a-days there is cheating; education has been destroyed due to cheating. This cheating has affected our educational system, acutely that we don’t even want to gain knowledge. Day by day this Nation is being lazy. Furthermore, why youth are the victims of addictions like Tobacco smoking which gives birth to the repurcussion as death, lung cancer, and hypertension?
Because of lack of education and lack of jobs that compel them to use tobacco for getting mental relaxation. In Balochistan there are 20% people who are educated, but they are unemployed. They are very poor; due to their poor financial status quo they cannot opt for higher studies. There are no good libraries and educational institutes. Moreover, Balochistan which is the neglected province of Pakistan faces several major problems concerning education. Apart from this government does not want Baloch should develop. According to a great philosopher, if, someone wants to destroy an entire Nation, so never demolish by weapons, but keep that Nation uneducated; it will get ruined. The same technique is being applied in Balochistan. At last, government should construct good schools, should take steps to eliminate the glaring cheating trend, and the ones who don’t have jobs, they should be given jobs.
